This document describes what personal data we collect through the kaameravalve.ee website and when providing our services, why we do it and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect

• Enquiry form and enquiry assistant. Name, phone, email, message and answers to questions about the site (for example the type of site, the view you need, recording and connection needs).
• Emails and calls. Data you send us yourself or tell us by phone.
• Customer relationship. Contact person details, site address, contract and billing data, maintenance and fault report information.
• Monitoring the CCTV system’s health. With the remote monitoring service we track technical data of the devices (for example connection status, recording interruptions, hard drive condition). We do not view the video as part of this service.
• Cloud recording. If you use our cloud recording, we keep your cameras’ video on our server for 30 days. We process this video on your behalf and according to your instructions.
• Technical data. When you visit the website, the server keeps a technical log (IP address, browser type, time of visit). We use it to keep the website secure.

3. Why and on what basis we use data

• Answering enquiries and preparing offers. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request.
• Providing services (installation, rental, maintenance, remote monitoring, cloud recording) and invoicing. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Keeping accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Website security and spam protection. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
• Analysing website use and measuring advertising. Legal basis: your consent (see section 6).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data to anyone. We use reliable service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Veebimajutus.ee (Elkdata OÜ): website and email hosting in Estonia.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (visitor statistics), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and Google Ads (measuring advertising results). Google may also process data outside the European Union. Such transfers take place under safeguards approved by the European Commission.
• Accounting and IT service providers to the extent needed to provide their services.

We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep data

• Enquiries that did not lead to a contract: 12 months after the last contact.
• Contract and customer data: for the term of the contract and up to 3 years after it ends, to settle possible claims.
• Accounting records: 7 years, as required by the Accounting Act.
• Cloud recording video: 30 days.
• Server technical logs: 30 days.

6. Cookies

The website uses cookies:

• Necessary cookies are essential for the website to work securely (for example language choice and spam protection).
• Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) help us understand how the website is used and whether our ads bring enquiries. We use them only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data collected about you;
• have incorrect data corrected;
• have your data deleted when we no longer have grounds to keep it;
• restrict or object to the processing of your data;
• receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

If you believe we have violated your rights, you can contact the Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee, info@aki.ee) or a court.

We may update this document from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with its effective date at the top.
